Thanks for another super insightful and helpful article Maryann. I have felt the gains around my midsection most recently at age 56. But with poor bone health I too am trusting my body knows what it’s doing. It’s subcutaneous fat growth. Strength, flexibility and cardio are my movement go-to’s. I am the strongest I’ve ever been and that feels so good. I love the muscle bone connection explanation in particular. That’s added more motivation to move for me. Thank you. Anita xx

You're welcome. I also enjoy the feeling of being stronger. I've adjusted to these changes and now feel this is where my body is supposed to be. Thanks for sharing!

Wow thanks for this - so much research has gone into this. Makes so much sense of my own changes... I definitely reached a point when my existing exercise regime stopped being as effective and I had to move more regularly not just more. So interesting.. thank you

Thanks Alana. Our bodies are changing and I was hoping to help women understand them more. It's funny but when I was younger I used to say waling etc., didn't count as working out. Now I love moving my body throughout the day and it definitely all counts!
