Today's post is a little different. I'm interested in hearing from you about common midlife health claims, as I plan to write a post.
I’m using the threads feature on Substack, to bring you into the conversation. I plan do this every so often.
An example of a midlife health claim that deserves a second look is “high intensity cardio negatively impacts cortisol levels in midlife women.” I’ve seen this repeatedly on social media and on private Facebook groups, some women even say they are scared to do cardio.
It's crucial to examine evidence for common claims as women take certain actions based on them (and spend their money) and they deserve to be informed.
I can’t promise that your claim will be in the post, but I’ll try my best. And if I know the answer off the top of my head, I’ll let you know.
Let me know a midlife health claim you’d like me to investigate.

That’s actually the one I would have suggested. I know cardio is still good but I’ve heard the INTENSITY needs to be considered and that leaves me stumped on how to proceed.

Oh good. I’m glad someone else is interested!
